I have finished my freeform tunic / wrap / top / whatever.
I cast on with lace-weight Icelandic lopi yarn on 15mm needles, not completely sure what this was going to be. I was then given some beautiful slub silk in graduated shades of grey / black from Chile, which toned in really well.
As the piece developed, I decided it would be a tunic. It turned out rather larger than I expected! When photographing it spread out on the floor, I decided it looked better worn sideways, but it can be worn either way.
Very pleased with it!
