Ulysses 2. A throw in the making
This is for a textiles exhibition with fellow textiles artist, purpleclaire.
It’ll be at Studio 61, 137 Lee Rd, Blackheath, London, SE3.
The Private View is on Sunday 9th June, and ends on Saturday 15th June.
The original Ulysses will be there, and other creative textiles, which you can buy or commission.
Ulysses 2 is made with any thick yarns that were in my stash. I did not allow myself to buy any new yarn.
I wanted it to be bigger than the original throw, but using thicker yarns, made it too heavy to crochet anymore, so had to stop.
I used a metal crochet hook, with a soft grip, and treble crochet stitch throughout.
