Connecting Threads textiles exhibition Pt1
I’m tired from wearing high heels & talking my mouth of to a sea of people at today’s private view at Studio 61.
The rain didn’t put people off, as John, the owner, Purple Claire Textiles, Charlotte Grierson & I, welcomed the viewers with free, yummy canapes, which were made by John’s wife, Mel, & a glass of wine or soft drink.
The day before, I had s sneak preview of Charlotte Grierson’s stitched textiles, and I was sad & glad it was behind glass, as I wanted to run my fingers down it!
This is a glorious piece, which is made with Japanese paper and steel thread.
