PHOTO PRACTICE DAY 5
I’m doing another pegloom project, using recycled materials. I’m trying not to buy anything new, unless I really need to.
I bought a Scottish wool scarf from a charity shop, cut it into strips & am weaving it on my handmade, pine & beech wood, pegloom. I’m also using some boucle yarn for the weft, and electric blue, cotton for the warp.

PHOTO PRACTISE DAY 3
Hand crochet wire vessels, with multi coloured, merino wool, pencil roving, sheep’s fleece.
I’m getting better, and enjoying it more, but more practise is needed.
Let me know what you think?
Excuse me if you’ve seen these pics before, but i’m practising my photography.
I like taking photos, but i’m not the best, so I bought a large sheet of card, adjusted the white balace and selected the macro feature on my digita compact camera, and snapped away.
I’ll be posting more pics, as I need to record what i’ve done, since Connecting Threads exhibition, and for my records.
Please note, you can buy what you see, or commission me to make one for you.
This piece is called ‘Starburst’ and is hand crocheted with wire and semi-precious chips. Unfortunatley, I can’t remember what the chips are called.
Any photo tips,or (constructive) comments, are greatly received.
What do you think?
