I finished the 2nd 1, yesterday.  It only took 2 days!

Need a new shawl pin, the top of the one i’m wearing, fell off!

FOILAGE WRAP

After the fabulous Spoilt For Choice success, i’m doing another of Anne Thompson’s designs.

I’ll be using chunky yarns for this, plus 10mm needles, as i’ve got 20mm but no 15s.

UPDATE: 17/08/11 - Finished!  I think no 2 needs 2 start soon, after I get more yarn! Oh, yes.  I did this in 3 days!

Foilage Wrap.  I’m doing this again, as I was using 6mm needles & sock yarn - wrong!

I don’t have 15mm needlles, so i’m using 10mm ones instead, plus 4 strands of chunky, handpainted yarns, held together.  I’m enjoying it, but needed to cast of 20 sts instead of 10, for the arm-holes. 

It’s working out well, although i’ve still got some pain in my wrist.  A good tip is to have the needles resting on your lap whilst knitting, as the work gets heavier as you knit, but it’s keeping my lap warm!

It’s working out well, & it’s a quick knit, too.  The pattern is by Anne Thompson, the same designer of the Spoilt For Choice garment.

I’ll post my own pics soon.

I wanted to show this off to the Funky Fibres last night, but the riot cut the night short.  Maybe they should take up a craft!

I’ll make another one, but need more yarn, as it took more than 300g, so I added some green, to finish it off.
